Exam Fees for the Class of 2011...
It's that time of year again...time to start raising money for the Class of 2011 exam fees.
At the end of F4 (completion of High School) all students sit for the VERY important national exam, the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE). Failure to take the exam means one is unable to qualify for any form of higher education or better paying jobs which greatly limits future choices/opportunities.
The students at Waddington High have to work harder than most to complete their education. Some walk long distances to and from school, many exist on little food and live in homes without electricity to study by or books to study with. Despite the obstacles they persevere and succeed.
It costs approximately 109 USD per student to register for the KCSE. One hundred and nine dollars can mean the difference between a student being a street vendor and a student having the opportunity to be a teacher, a banker, or a successful business owner.
Our goal is to see that all of our eligibile students are able to take the KCSE but we need your help to make it happen.
