Having options means there is a program to meet everyone’s needs and allows us to appeal to a wider audience for support. We are lucky that so many people care for the children and believe in what is being done at the school are willing to devote their time and energy to working to improve the school. Here are 2 more programs that are coordinated by other non-profits that also support the children and staff at Galilee Primary School, Waddington High School and Holly House.
Waddington High School Mentorship Program – matches a student with a mentor who provides friendship, encouragement and guidance to a select group of students selected by the school’s director. The $10 a month fee provides the school with income to support the WHS feeding program and exam fee fund. This program is coordinated by Kenya’s Kids In Need – UK.
Teacher Sponsorship Program - $15 a month, provides a stipend for the teacher at Galilee Primary and Waddington HS. as well as contributing to the Hagood Teacher Fellowship Fund for distribution to other teachers, , This program is coordinated by Plant-A-Book International. http://www.plantabook.org/
